Called ahead of time to ensure they’d have the proper tools and training to diagnose a software and powertrain malfunction on my BMW. I was assured by a manager that someone would be able to give me a full diagnostic rundown with pricing for service, and led to believe BMW servicing was somewhat of an everyday thing for them. Upon arriving, my appointment was never logged in their software, a service tech didn’t show up until after I was pulling out of their parking lot 20 minutes after I arrived, and I was told that the only issue with my vehicle was a brake sensor or two. I back and forth’d with the desk guy for a bit and he admitted he heard the issues I was asking about posthumously and said BMW would be able to service me efficiently. I’d say truly don’t bother going in unless you need a quick oil change or don’t want to travel outside of your neighborhood for a servicing.
